This is a painting I made long ago that I came across
recently, having to do with a flying dream. I wondered
what it would look like recolored. I think mostly I
find that I like the original impulse best, but
sometimes changing the color is
wonderfully surprising.
beautiful image len, and I love the changing of colors. makes 'sense', as if she is flying(moving) thru space and space changes color as she moves. i always loved andy warhol changing color of same image. but this drawing makes me understand why in a new way. the mood/feelings of the flyer really changes as colors change.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy this image so much. It feels light and joyful and full of wonder to me. The colors are wonderful- the original colors and also the new colors. Its interesting seeing the same image in new colors.
