Shapes/ Adding and Subtracting


This morning I was playing around with varying 
shapes.  First I drew them, then I cut out shapes
around them, Then I recolored and put back 
most of the cuttings.  What I noticed is that
despite some concern about the results....
I really enjoy experimenting!

    These remind me of icons or signage for where to locate the various decks on a cruise ship to the islands.

    i agree with ondge, there is a cruise ship feel to these. they are swimming icons...
    i love the process len., and the product.

    I just enjoy seeing your process and how you can start with one drawing and just by playing around develop that one drawing. This series as a whole is quite marvelous to look at.
